CHAST FEVER

"Roz Chast: Cartoon Memoirs" is currently at the Museum of the City of New York. We caught up with the exhibition at the Norman Rockwell Museum. Here's a little of what it looked like there.

 I don't want to spoil the show for you, so I'll leave you with just two images more:
The above is from her award-winning graphic novel Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?, about her attempts to deal with her parents' slow decline while parting them from their cluttered Brooklyn digs. To further illustrate her illustrated memoir, the exhibition includes some of that clutter.
