A LITTLE TOUCH OF HARRY IN THE NIGHT

Strewn throughout the pages of Judge magazine were the ink efforts of the Men Who Would Be Gibson. Charles Dana Gibson, that is, a household name and an artist to contend with. Frank Godwin and James Montgomery Flagg were two of the more serious contenders. Here's Harry Peter, or as you might know him, "H.G. Peter," years before he was chosen for the Wonder Woman gig. His style recalls Gibson as well as Franklin Booth.
